A3: Still Alive
Price: Free to play
A3: Still Alive is a new MMORPG. The base game play is similar to many others in this space. You roam around in an open world, do quests, unlock gear, level up, and do stuff like that. The multiplayer boasts a 100 versus 100 combat mode and a 30-player battle royale mode. Additionally, the game’s graphics are pretty good. Some players don’t like the auto combat system and some of the story is locked behind some truly long grinds (or microtransactions, your choice). Otherwise, it’s a decent option for MMORPG fans.
Dragonscapes Adventure
Price: Free to play
Dragonscapes Adventurue is a mix of a town builder sim and a merging game. Players start with an empty space and build a little area. Additionally, you find dragons and merge them to create new dragons. Those are two main game play loops with some other mini-games and extras thrown in. It works on an energy system that takes a bit longer to replenish than we’d like, but otherwise everything is fairly enjoyable and friendly. As per the norm, prepare to grind it out a bit just like most free to play games.
Fruit Ninja 2
Price: Free to play
Fruit Ninja 2 is the successor to one of the most popular Android arcade games from its early years. The new Fruit Ninja game follows in most of the footsteps from its predecessor with some extra stuff. There are several game modes, including arcade, zen, and classic mode along with a rhythm game style mode if you’re into that. There is an online multiplayer mode for the competitive players as well. It feels like a natural extension from the first Fruit Ninja with better graphics and game play. The game had some early issues with server connections, but it should be mostly okay now.
Goddess of Genesis S
Price: Free to play
Goddess of Genesis S is a standard gacha RPG. It boasts better than average graphics, 3D models instead of 2D sprites, and the usual array of mobile RPG elements. Players can run through the story, use characters to team up and do combo attacks, and online PvP. The online multiplayer mode is five versus five so it’s a bit different from the usual one versus one duels. The story is pretty decent although the translation quality could be better. You don’t need to pay to win, but there is a fairly significant grind.
Hellopet House
Price: Free to play
Hellopet House is a cutesy little restaurant sim, animal collector, and simulator. Players design and build their mansions up while also adopting a bunch of cats and dogs. There is also a restaurant sim element where you serve your animals food to complete levels and progress through the game. The game includes hundreds of levels, tons of stuff to unlock, and the usual stuff like boosters to help complete levels. It’s a simple arcade game and it’s relatively kid friendly as well as long as they aren’t too young.

Immortal: Reborn
Price: Free to play
Immortal: Reborn is an idle game with Diablo style RPG elements. There aren’t any real graphics in this game. Instead, you basically raise your character with its character sheet. The game’s depth helps make up for the lack of any real graphics. Players make their way through the story while they level everything up. There are also four classes to choose from, tons of loot to collect, and a few other game modes. The story isn’t well written, but its a means to an end to keep the player moving forward.
Machinal Instinct
Price: Free to play
Machinal Instinct is one of the weaker offerings this month, but it has some potential if the developers get things fixed up. It’s a fighting game with some brawler mechanics. You choose a warrior, give it some gear, and duke it out against other players. There are three types of melee weapons and two types of ranged weapons. We assume the options will improve over time. The controls are functionally button mashing but in a fun way for the most part. The progression is very slow, but you can play offline against bots. It needs fixed up a bit, but it’s fun overall.
Shadow Fight Arena
Pigeon Shooting Android Games Downloads
Price: Free
Shadow Fight Arena is the latest iteration of the popular Shadow Fight fighting series. This one includes the smooth, satisfying animations of the previous games, but the fighters are fully designed instead of just shadows. This one focuses around its online multiplayer more than the campaign mode of previous games. The controls are pretty easy to figure out, but will take time to master, especially against online opponents. It’s a decent online arcade fighter and the older games are still available if you want to play against AI opponents.
Sumikkogurashi Farm
Price: Free to play
Sumikkogurashi Farm is a cutesy farming simulator. You grow your crops, fulfill orders, and earn XP. The XP earns you levels to grow more stuff and fulfill more orders. It’s a fairly linear game and it’s a slower pace than many. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s something to keep in mind. The casual nature of the game helps relax you while you go about your business. On the other hand, it’s slow even for a farming simulator. Hopefully the developer expands it with more stuff to do, but until then, it’s a very hands-off sim.
Underworld Office
Price: Free with in-app purchases
Underworld Office is a visual novel in the horror genre. For the uninitiated, visual novels are interactive narrative games where you mostly just enjoy the story while making some impact on the decisions. This one has a pretty good and creepy story about a kid who ends up running an office in the underworld. The game also features 40 animations, 150 illustrations, seven different endings, and collectibles for a bit of replay value. It’s a free game as long as you don’t mind watching the occasional ad. There isn’t much else with this one. It’s a good, solid visual novel game.
